Laser Skin Rejuvenation For Spotless Skin

The skin develops certain elements as we age. It could be because of a reduction in collagen- (a protein responsible for giving the skin its structure and firmness) production in the skin.  Alternatively, it could be because of environmental or lifestyle factors such as smoking, excessive sun exposure and the use of certain cosmetics or creams that are harmful to the skin.
Laser skin rejuvenation can diminish many skin conditions such as fine lines and wrinkles, age spots, deep lines, pigmentation, freckles, melasma and spider veins. In the past, these conditions were treated surgically but the process was long, painful and did not completely remove the condition.
Hence, a laser procedure is highly preferred as it can be performed in less than an hour, has little to no downtime and completely treats any unpleasant condition.

Many different types of laser devices are present to treat the skin. They fall into the following two categories. Ablative and non-ablative lasers, the former types work to remove the top damaged layer of skin whereas the latter do not ablate the skin.
Non-ablative laser rejuvenation has no down time and is a milder approach. It is best for early signs of aging. The Intense pulsed light or IPL is a light therapy that penetrates deep into the skin more than a non-ablative laser. The IPL does not injure the surface of the skin so there is no downtime. Additionally this laser can improve skin texture and color and shrink enlarged pores.
Another type of laser is the photo dynamic therapy – this is a two-step procedure. First, the skin is applied with a solution that makes it sensitive to light. The solution is left on for 30 minutes or longer. Laser light is then beamed onto the treated area. PDT decreases redness, age spots, freckles, and improves overall texture and appearance of the skin. Downtime for this procedure is very short.

For patients with acute and deep skin conditions such as age spots, deep wrinkles and skin discoloration, Fractional laser rejuvenation is a good option. It offers deep rejuvenation with a short recovery time and treats the condition effectively.
Laser rejuvenation has become increasingly popular amongst celebrities, VIPS and ordinary people who wish to attain smooth, clear and flawless skin in no time. It is important to assess which laser device suits your skin type the most before undergoing laser skin rejuvenation.

  4. Thanks for putting together this very informative and interesting post about laser skin rejuvenation. As I approach fifty years, I can see that several lines and wrinkles have developed along with age spots. I did consider laser skin rejuvenation but then decided against it as I did not want to run the risk of any problems that made the problem even worse. However, as I read more about this procedure, I am convinced that this is going to be right for me. What did it for me was knowing that it has little to no down time and that there are no adverse side effects. Facial Rejuvenation
